Containers for blood-contaminated items like complete syringes, transfusion devices, and blood bags;
Containers for other specified sharps and medically hazardous infectious materials.
Product Features:
- Made of non-toxic, hard plastic, these containers are puncture-resistant, leak-proof, easy to incinerate, and safe and convenient to use;
- When the container is filled to 3/4 of its capacity, the sharps box must be sealed, and items placed inside cannot be removed;
- Sharps boxes are for single use only and must be collected and safely incinerated by a medical waste disposal unit within 48 hours.
